Testimonials for Lori Lisi
Our Literary Agent Research service was featured in an hour-long podcast interview with client, Jerry Manas, at The Project Managment Podcast website. The entire interview focuses on issues Jerry learned through the publishing process and project management lessons for authors. Though our services were cited a couple of times, the Literary Agent Research service is specifically referenced beginning with the 38:00 minute mark to the 40:00 minute mark.
"Lori's expert advice and editing services were invaluable to me during the proposal stage of my first book. As a novice to the publishing world, I welcomed Lori's insightful suggestions, all of which turned out to be right on the money."
Jerry Manas, author of Napoleon on Project Management: Timeless Lessons in Planning, Execution, and Leadership.

"As a fledgling writer, ready to jump out of the nest, I was a bit lost with the whole process of navigating the publishing industry. Thanks to Lori, I found my way!
"She helped me with my first book proposal and book outline that eventually landed me a literary agent. In fact, she was more helpful and more encouraging than that first agent. And, I give her the credit for helping me overcome my doubt and continuing on with my writing journey.
"From there, it’s been a roller-coaster ride filled with some struggle and excitement. I landed a new agent, self-published two books, wrote television and film scripts, magazine articles, and continue to develop new projects for my life coaching website. I still use that first work by Lori as a guide.
"Through the years, I’ve stayed in contact with Lori, her website, and her periodic email check-ins. She has an extraordinary love for writing; she is a fantastic coach, a skilled editor, and an energetic cheerleader for anyone hoping to make a living through their writing. Thanks to her guidance and education, I now have a growing income stream from my all literary projects!
"I would recommend her to anyone needing support with their publishing career!"

"Lori Lisi is top notch and at the top of her game. She not only helps smooth out all the kinks and rough edges, she teaches you. I've learned so much about structure... balance... keeping the reader's attention... fluidity... The best thing about working with Lori is that she not only helps you turn your rough manuscript into a professional one... She allows you to keep your voice at the same time."
Dwayne S. Joseph, author of The Choices Men Make, A Dollar and A Dream, Around The Way Girls, The Womanizers, and Never Say Never—all published.
"Lori worked miracles with my book proposal. It was a project I could have never done myself with the degree of excellence given to the project by Lori. Great job as always, Lori."

"This has been a wonderful experience for me. Not only has it improved Parish, but it's given me a deeper perspective on my work in general. Your suggestions have been astute, and your observations have been perceptive. I can't thank you enough. It's been a pleasure working with so excellent an editor."
Roy Denunzio, author of The Parish at Woodbridge.
"I am in awe of what good editors like you do... The synopsis and query are just what I was looking for. They have an emotional quality that I seem more able to put into my writing than my business materials. Thanks!"
Brian Jones, author of Washington Avenue.
